Microsoft pulls the plug on Windows XP in April of 2014

Windows XP and Microsoft Office 2003 will be phased out of support by Microsoft on April 8, 2014. To ensure you remain on supported versions of Windows and Office, you should begin your plan to upgrade to Windows 7 at a minimum, along with Office 2010. With the release of Windows 8 (available in October of 2012), there is no reason you should stay on Windows XP. You will find that Windows 7 is a very stable OS to work with.
