Premiers June 2021 at Bowl Expo!
It's new, and we'll show it off in Louisville Kentucky at the Bowl Expo in booth 1001. This self ordering food and beverage kiosk can be placed anywhere in your center, and it's built with an industrial 19 inch touch screen, all you need to provide is the electricity.
This kiosk can be ordered with or without an EMV chip credit card reader for processing immediate payment if required, or you could collect payment at time of pickup/delivery, it's all configurable by the management.
Because we believe you don't need another printer to deal with at each kiosk, signed credit card paper slips will be available at the bar or snack bar when picked up and/or delivered by your personnel for signature. Some states don't even require paper signatures for credit card charges under a certain dollar amount, thus saving you even more money on wasted paper.
Food and soft drink orders will be printed in the kitchen, while alcoholic drinks will be printed in the bar. Customizing your system to allow alcohol orders to be age verified before preparation, or excluded from ordering all together, it's all customizable on your Steltronic front desk or back office computers.
Easily add/remove items to customize your food order, while using the full color touch screen with your images of the food and beverage items you sell from your bar/snack bar or restaurant.

With the newest version of Focus-NEX software, the ability to place an image from a cell phone onto the scoring monitors is now available. Kids birthday parties, corporate parties, special events, open play bowlers and even league bowlers can have their picture embedded into the scoring grid while bowling.
Using any image from your cell phone, computer, just about any image you can think of can be used for each player that is bowling with Steltronic automatic Scoring.

With the exciting and patented truly 3-D animated graphics for nearly every type of score possible, the Vision Lane Computer (VLC) was in a league of its own compared to the others. Fast forward into 2017, and Steltronic introduced a scaled down size of the VLC, and we call it Vision-NEX because it runs the Focus-NEX front desk software. While smaller in size, it packs more horsepower than its predecessor, and has the new solid state hard drive working up to 100X faster and cooler because it has no moving parts.
As we all know, if you have the original iPhone from Apple, you cannot run the newest version of their software, and the same is for Focus software. If you want to stay current with the newest version of Steltronic Focus-NEX software, the software upgrade is free, but you need to upgrade your lane computer hardware to be able to run the next generation of Focus-Nex software at the front desk along with the Vision-NEX software running at the lanes for the most brilliant and exciting interactive 3-D images and animations possible. We have a trade-in program for the bowling centers that purchase your scoring system prior to 2018 to get you into the most advanced lane computer system available for Focus software.
Steltronic is just like the Apple iPhone, there is no charge for all of the bells and whistles that get released every year by Apple, but you need the correct hardware to run the new software.

Coming soon, Steltronic Focus-NEX software will have options for your bowling center to select from different credit card processors.
Currently the only choice today is Worldpay integration, and we hear you, Worldpay is EXPENSIVE with fees everywhere that drain your checking account. It's unfortunate that Steltronic has no control over these fees, other than to make Focus-NEX front desk software give you alternative options.
It's a fact that competition helps keeps the costs lower across the board!
Announcing Century Business Solutions along with First Data, a name you might recognize as the BPAA credit card processor for many bowling centers. Together with CBS and Focus-NEX software, you'll soon have multiple options to select for your credit card processor of choice.

Lanetalk Tournaments

Lanetalk recently introduced matches and tournaments into their app. Lanetalk is the industry leading mobile app for bowling. It allows centers to connect their scoring system to Lanetalk and bowlers can link their game to their user in the app. League or recreational bowler can collect their scores and Lanetalk will show them their statistics (high score, average, %strikes, % spares, etc.) People can also view live scores from the app or website. With the introduction of matches and tournaments, centers can promote tournaments that take place on the app. Bowlers can also challenge other bowlers to a match. These tournaments can boost bowling business during summer months and throughout the year by hosting a casual tournament or match and allowing the bowlers to submit scores. Earlier this year Lanetalk launched their Tournaments and matches by partnering with the PBA and hosting the PBA Global Rumble. Over 5,000 bowlers joined around the world in 250 centers. This summer, Lanetalk and STORM Bowling are promoting a tournament starting June 14th until July 24th. The Storm Lightning Rounds tournament is a great opportunity for your center to let your bowlers participate and boost your sales. Later this year the PBA Rumble 2.0 will kick off again and we hope to make it grow even bigger by having Steltronic centers participate and be a part of the fun! Congratulations Fat Cats

Going all the way back 20 years in August 2001, the very first Fat Cats (36 lanes) in Salt Lake City Utah opened their doors, and Steltronic was proud to be the automatic scoring of choice by Sean Collins and Dave Rutter. With private birthday party rooms, a huge game room, and snack bar, this was just the beginning for the Fat Cats chain of centers.
With the newest center opening in Queen Creek Arizona, it features 20 full size bowling lanes with freefall pins, eight (8) full size movie theaters, indoor miniature golf, virtual reality gaming, full kitchen, adult beverages bar, and an arcade with redemption for prizes. When you add it all up, this creates 214 lanes spanning across 9 locations in Utah, Idaho, Colorado, and Arizona.
