Steltronic has finished a full interface to the Mendes MM-2001 pinsetter, with the ability to set specific pins from the bowler console or from the front desk. This feature allows the bowlers and/or the front desk cashiers to setup pins that may have been knocked over as a late pin fall event, and this eliminates the hassles of notifying the mechanic to setup some pins during league play. All other standard features of the Steltronic scoring system are available to this pinsetter.

The Mendes pinsetter picks up the pins by use of magnets, and is the only pinsetter known to have this technology.

With this new interface, this allows bowling centers with this pinsetter to purchase a new scoring system for their existing pinsetters, whereas it has been determined that not many other scoring companies are supporting this Mendes pinsetter.
