Steltronic is pleased to announce that Vantiv formerly known as Mercury Payment Systems and the Focus software that you have at your bowling center can process credit cards. This is an alternative choice to the other 3rd party software programs out there, as Mercury Payments is now integrated directly into the Focus software. One of the best features of this new integration is that your system does not rely on other 3rd party software running in the background, and in some cases, if someone forgot to log off of the other 3rd party software, the Focus front desk could not process credit cards. Now your worries are over because if you have the Steltronic Focus software running, you know that you can process a credit card.

With Mercury Payment Systems, you can be rest assured that even if Mercury’s computer system was to suddenly go offline in one location, there are multiple authorization servers to guarantee 99.9% credit card authorization. Even if the Mercury Payment Systems cannot authorize the credit card with the “bank”, Mercury steps up to the plate and will authorize the card to allow your cashiers the fastest transaction possible. When the bank is back online, and if the credit card may have been “over the limit”, Mercury will honor the authorization it gave to your bowling center, thus your bank account receives the payment regardless if “the bank” was to decline it.

In addition to processing the customer credit cards at your bowling center, the Steltronic booking system allows customers at home to reserve a bowling lane at your bowling center and process the credit card at home. The approval on the credit card is automatically sent to the Steltronic Focus software, and when the customers arrive at your center, all you need to do is get their rental shoes, and tell them the lane number they will be bowling on today.
