The PinCam Tunnel Assembly is a custom-engineered heavy-duty steel mounting system designed specifically for bowling centers utilizing above-ground “surface” ball return systems. Unlike traditional underground ball returns, surface ball returns allow the bowling ball to travel visibly back to the bowler along an exposed track positioned above the approach area.

In these installations, the standard PinCam camera mounting position would interfere with the ball return track. The PinCam Tunnel Assembly solves this challenge by securely elevating the PinCam camera above the ball return capping, creating a protected tunnel passage beneath the camera assembly for uninterrupted ball travel.

Constructed from durable heavy-gauge steel for long-term commercial bowling center reliability, the PinCam Tunnel Assembly provides a stable and precise camera mounting platform while maintaining proper ball return functionality. The design ensures accurate camera positioning, protection of components, and compatibility with modern surface ball return configurations commonly found in family entertainment centers, boutique bowling venues, and modernized bowling installations.

Special attention was given to bowler and equipment protection during the design process. The edges of the steel tunnel are professionally folded and finished so that, in the event a bowling ball contacts the assembly, the ball encounters a smooth flat surface rather than a sharp sheet metal edge that could potentially damage the bowling ball. Additionally, integrated cable management holes are built directly into the tunnel assembly, allowing installers to neatly secure camera and system wiring using zip ties for a clean, professional, and service-friendly installation.
